ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT Boston based registered investment advisor firm has an opening for an administrative assistant to support the investment team.
The ideal candidate for the role should possess the following attributes and qualifications: Ø undergraduate degree or equivalent with 3+ years professional experience in a fast-paced administrative support role Ø a reputation with previous employers for the highest integrity and outstanding performance Ø strong organizational and problem solving skills Ø strong command of English grammar and syntax Ø extensive experience with Excel and Word Ø excellent and clear communication skills, both written and oral Ø ability to work independently while at the same time work effectively in a collaborative structure with personnel throughout every level of the company Ø thrive in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment, with the ability to multi-task and manage details This position is a member of the five person support team that assists and supports the firm's private investment analysts.
RESPONSIBLITIES: · Screen and direct various communications, including answering and directing incoming calls; setting up conference calls; distributing faxes, etc. · Assist with calendar management, travel and meeting arrangements, etc. for analysts, including some personal assistance to Managing Directors · Maintain various company databases, contacts, and files · Monthly and Quarterly performance report filing and tracking · Document scanning · Process legal documents for signature · Collect and organize research using Capital IQ, Trepp, and other research services · Prepare expense reports · Draft various correspondences for analysts, as requested This is an excellent opportunity for the person who wishes to work for an employee oriented co: onsite gym, fabulous meals, generous bonuses and more!
