Contract Management Specialist G&A
The Contracting Specialist will manage life cycle of contracts from initial request to full execution, ensuring processing fluidity to meet business needs. This role will work cross-functionally with Legal, Sourcing, Compliance, Finance, Purchasing, GIS, and AP, as well as external vendors to execute contracts timely and compliantly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and process requests for CDAs, Service Statements, Master Agreements, Amendments, Termination Letters and License/Subscription agreements, ensuring adequate functional reviews are completed
- Actively manage contract requests, ensuring prompt transition through all the contacting stages, from initial review to full execution
- Support functional teams on the Purchase Order and invoice issue resolution
- Assist with onboarding new groups to the centralized contracting process by updating the contracting tool, researching vendor relationships, optimize templates
- Execute ad hoc projects based on team needs
Minimum Qualifications
- 1 – 3 years’ experience in a contracting role
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong cross-functional collaboration
- Appropriately handles highly confidential document
- Detailed oriented and outstanding follow through skills
- High degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to triage system issues
- Exercise sound, independent judgment to regularly handle new and complex situations
- Proven ability to successfully handle multiple, high urgency, requests in a reliable manner
- Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers
- Ability to clearly communicate statuses to the appropriate people in a timely manner
