Executive Assistant

The Executive Assistant will provide administrative support to the HR leader and operational support to the function.  In additional to the foundational elements of calendar and meeting coordination, he/she will support the US HR team with initiatives related to corporate & departmental goals that align with our focus on employee engagement. The successful candidate will be forward thinking, anticipate needs and be able to work well in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a collaborative team.  Strong verbal and written communication skills, including PowerPoint, are critical.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative, telephone support and calendar management to the HR Leader
  • Coordinate meetings and events
  • Schedule candidate interviews & travel
  • Foster an environment of appreciation and recognition within the team and complete special projects that positively drive employee engagement
  • Provide administrative support such as coordination of purchase orders, expense reports and special projects for the HR leadership team, and provide assistance to departmental colleagues
  • Assist with tracking HR metrics for department analysis and presentation creation
  • Assist with project initiatives focused on engaging and aligning employees on company goals and priorities

Job Qualifications:

  • 3+ years prior administrative/operational experience, ideally in HR
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Strong work ethic; team player with a positive, solution-oriented attitude
  • Exceptional proficiency in PowerPoint is required, with a creative eye for improving existing presentations
  • Strong technology & social media acumen desired
  • Excellent verbal/written communication, organization, prioritization, time-management skills and attention to detail required
  • Exercise discretion, judgment, tact and poise in handling highly sensitive and confidential information
  • Must have strong initiative, self-motivation and high standards for work product
  • Demonstrate a professional, positive, and approachable demeanor
